Making Kasa Chai on a stove (Recommended)

Step 1 - Shake the packet before use, so the spices are well mixed.

Step 2 - Boil 3/4 cup of water and 1.5 TBSP chai. Mix over medium low heat. Stir occasionally.

(add 2.5 TBSP for 2 cups)

Step 3 - After 20 seconds of boiling, add 1/4 cup milk or milk substitute and bring back to a boil, uncovered.

Step 4 - Turn off heat, steep for 60 seconds.

Step 5 - Strain into a teacup. Enjoy!
Making Kasa Chai with a kettle

Step 1 - Boil water in kettle to 205F, or just under a boil if you don't have an electric kettle.

Step 2 - Add 1.5 tbsp of Kasa Chai blend into a tea strainer and place in a small cup.  Rinse the cup with hot water first to heat it up (Optional).

(add 2.5 TBSP for 2 cups)

Step 3 - Pour 3/4 cup of water from the kettle into the cup.

Step 4 - Steep for 4 minutes, ideally with the strainer covered.

Step 5 - Remove the strainer and add milk to your preference. Enjoy!
